Cellist, Georgia Shine is fast developing an exciting reputation. A former member of TCO and student of its conductor Matthew Henry, she now studies at UQ with the renowned Patrick Murphy. Highpoints for 2014 include winning the UQ Cello Fund Scholarship, performances at the Bangalow Music Festival with her quartet Armilla, and with the Southern Cross Soloists and international stars Jack Liebeck and Vicky Sayles. After further study abroad she aims for a career in solo performance and chamber music.
