GLADSTONE: MOVIE MASTERPIECES – Presented by QSO

Join Queensland Symphony Orchestra for a free evening of superb outdoor entertainment at the Gladstone Marina Stage on Friday, August 7, from 7pm.

Presented by QSO and Australia Pacific LNG, Movie Masterpieces will feature some of the state’s best classical musicians performing movie themes from blockbusters including Star Wars, Harry Potter, and The Lord of the Rings.

The evening will feature one of Australia’s most versatile conductors and entertainers, Guy Noble, and showcase mezzo-soprano Louise Dorsman alongside QSO soloists, Concertmaster Warwick Adeney and Principal Tuba Thomas Allely.

Students will also be treated to a special Movie Masterpieces schools concert, presented by Guy Noble, at 10am on Friday 7 August at the Gladstone Marina Stage. For more information click here.
