Maleny Music Festival (Sunshine Coast)

This boutique festival, now in it’s 6^th year is set in the lush Hinterland of the Sunshine Coast and held in the Maleny Showgrounds, the site of the original Maleny Folk Festival. It commenced in 2012 on the 25th anniversary of the first event which grew and went on to become the Woodford Folk Festival we know today.

Our family friendly festival has become renowned for it’s relaxed, intimate and casual atmosphere.

With a diverse program of acoustic based acts to dance bands, comedy, poetry, workshops and street entertainment there is something for all ages. Food and Market Stalls combined with On Site Camping, create your village for a get away from it all weekend in Maleny.

The program features acts from as far away as W.A. VIC. and N.S.W. as well as S.E. Qld.

A Children’s Program was added in 2016 to enhance the family friendly atmosphere of the event as well as a relaxed space for singing.

Non  booked performers are catered for at the Upfront Blackboard on each night at The Obi Obi Stage.

The Showgrounds are only a short walk up the hill to the shops and cafe’s of Maleny so come on up  for a great weekend to enjoy with friends.
