COLLABORATIVE CONTRABASS – Presented by Qld Conservatorium of Music

This is the fourth and final recital for Emma Sullivan’s doctoral project Collaborative Contrabass. It will feature duets for double bass and violin, viola and oboe by Edgar Meyer, Erkki-Sven Tüür, John Tartaglia, Andrea Clearfield, Andrew Ford and Behzad Ranjbaran. The programme will also include the world premiere of Two Step, a duet for viola and double bass by Catherine Milliken. Berio’s Psy for solo double bass will also be performed. This recital will feature Jenny Khafagi on violin, Tara Houghton on viola, Catherine Milliken on oboe and Emma Sullivan on double bass.
