With their debut album taking home three titles in this year’s Australian Celtic Music Awards, Gone Molly deliver a truly unique set of original folk songs from the Anglo-Celtic tradition. Their rich lyrical songs weave their way from faerie dells to grimy London alleyways, and their catchy choruses and interminable sense of fun make for a compelling live show. Joined recently by multi instrumentalist Lachlan Baldwin, Gone Molly are an unmissable act!
In early 2018, Briley Baldwin (fiddle and vocals), Christian Rizzalli (bouzouki and vocals) and Sam Krauser (guitar and vocals) joined forces to form Bartley’s Folly. Taking their name from the failed project of Brisbane’s 19th century eccentric, Nehemiah Bartley, these young musicians are engaged in folk music as a potent form of storytelling. Their repertoire draws upon a wide range of Irish and English traditional sources, along with the rich body of Anglo-Celtic folk music that has been fostered in Australia.
