FROM THE OLYMPIC ARENA, THROUGH HISTORY AND IN OUR OWN COMMUNITY, HEROES ARE EVERYWHERE.
The Gold Coast Philharmonic Orchestra and Conductor Mark Turpin present HEROES, a concert celebrating the heroes in our lives at the Robina Auditorium, Saturday 25 April at 2.30pm.
Following on from the morning ANZAC ceremonies, celebrate and join the Gold Coast’s own orchestra in an afternoon of orchestral classics including Summon the Heroes and Raiders March by John Williams, the second movement from Beethoven’s Symphony No.7, Fanfare for the Common Man by Copland, Swagman’s Promenade by Australian Michael Hurst, Finlandia by Sibelius, the string section performing Theme from Braveheart and more, including afternoon tea at interval.
