Opera at Jimbour – Queensland Music Festival

As part of the Queensland Music Festival, BPO are delighted to announce a special visit to Jimbour to work with Opera Queensland.

We’ll be joining forces with OperaQ’s incredible soloists and the Toowoomba Community Chorus under the baton of Andrew Mogrelia to perform Strauss’s delightfully cheeky operetta, Die Fledermaus – or “The Bat”, directed by Lindy Hume. Come with us through a tale of masks, mysteries and revenge.

Entry is free, with market and beverage stalls open from 10AM-4PM. Bring your favourite pillow, cushion or chair. Venue is wheelchair accessible!
