Following the success of “Time Warriors” in 2015, ICO was asked to stage a Concert of super Heroes Themes. Well here it is!
Ipswich City Orchestra again assembles the HUGE Orchestra to stage some of those movie themes you love so much.
Just to be different, we take on board super heroes over eight centuries, all the way through to the end of 20th century. Yes “Superman” and “Batman” make it through the final mix, but so does “Robin Hood”!! You will just have to be there to listen for which version of the Nottingham forest hero caught our attention enough to be included on this programme. Then you can be romanced and intoxicated by that other hero …”Zorro”!
The opening and closing will RAISE THE ROOF of the Civic Centre. “Summon the Heroes” will be there but the closing will be a very guarded secret.
Our String players will have you swooning while our Brass and Woodwind will blow you away as they did in “Star Wars” and “Ben Hur”. Our Percussionists are legendary and will be at their stations again for this epic concert.
