The Cave – Presented by Cello Dreaming (Part of Anywhere Festival) Sunshine Coast

Come and sit in a 320 degree, automated virtual environment (CAVE2), one of only 4 of its kind in the world. World-class musicians Sally Clarke (Viola) and Louise King (cello) will perform a classical repertoire, but you’ll be blindfolded with only your phone to help you ‘see’.  This project uses a contemporary experience to explore the ‘Allegory of the Cave’, which Plato devised to explain how we come to know things.
