Celebrate Spring – Presented by The Amadeus Orchestra
Celebrate spring with The Amadeus Orchestra as they perform with the UQ Singers and Soloists, to bring you a variety of popular operatic solos and choruses. Highlights of the concert will be the Slaves Chorus from Verdi’s “Nabucco “ and the famous Barcarolle from Offenbach’s “Tales of Hoffman” as well as arias from Mozart, Puccini and Strauss. Conducted by humorous Lachlan Snow, the afternoon is guaranteed to be very entertaining. Bring a picnic, rug and enjoy the music at the beautiful botanic gardens.
