Brisbane-based favourites of the Australian folk scene ‘Cloudstreet’ are launching their new album, Clouded House, in Brisbane on 3rd October 2015. After a highly successful tour of the UK earlier in the year, the band’s eagerly anticipated eighth album features new member, Golden Fiddle award-winning performer Emma Nixon.

Cloudstreet’s trademark stunning vocal harmonies and cleverly woven arrangements use guitar, fiddles, flute, percussion and John’s pride and joy – his English concertinas. Their music is based on the best of the Anglo-Celtic and Australian traditions, tailored for contemporary tastes. Their compelling performances, presented with an eye firmly fixed on high quality musicianship, are leavened with humour and great tales from their travels.
