Come along with family and friends to enjoy a magical evening with the QSO under the stars!
Picnic with the classics, under the stars, and hear the State’s best classical musicians perform favourites, loved by young and old alike, including treats such as Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite, Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons – Winter, Strauss’ Blue Danube Waltz and Bizet’s Carmen Suite.
The evening will also feature outstanding Opera Queensland soprano Dominique Fegan and, in a coup for Gladstone, will be led by young Australian-British conductor, Jessica Cottis. Hailed in the UK music press as ‘the one to watch’, Jessica is fast gaining an international reputation as one of the most promising conductors of the younger generation.
