Latin Magic – Presented by BCPO

The Brisbane City Pops Orchestra will present Latin Magic, a concert featuring one of our favourite styles of music, with lots of great melodies and toe-tapping rhythms. You will be transported to many exciting destinations as we present Jamaican Rhumba, Spanish Gypsy Dance, Brazil and Viva La Espana. We will also visit the Barber of Seville and swoon to Begin the Beguine. Our guest artist this concert is returning by popular demand. After wowing audiences last year with his powerful voice, Raffaele Pierno will perform some favourites – Granada, Donkey Serenade, The Flower Song from Carmen and Toreador’s Song – an amazing selection! Our own talented flute/piccolo player will perform “Cumana” on keyboard.
