We start with Gershwin’s beloved one movement marvel, Lullaby, before Massenet’s aria-without-words, Méditation, charms the audience and challenges the violinist with its stretchy melodic line and emotional shifts. Rossini’s quirky Duet for Cello and Double Bass leads the audience to a delighted finish.
