The award winning Camerata of St John’s is one of the Australia’s finest small orchestras. It is known for its stylish presentations and innovative and interesting programming, including music from both classical and non-classical genres.
An unconducted group of talented string players, Camerata is Brisbane based and tours regionally in Queensland. They are making a long awaited first ever visit to Ipswich, presenting a very special event for families. The performance takes the form of an interactive concert and workshop. The audience will be given a unique behind-the-scenes look into the wonderful world of the unconducted chamber orchestra.
Involving performances of music from many eras and genres, you will even be invited to contribute in the music-making itself!
