Sangeet Mela is Australia’s premiere Indian classical music and dance festival featuring both Hindustani and Carnatic styles.
Sangeet Mela 2016 will feature renowned sitar maestro Pt Ravi Shankar’s protégée, Shubhendra Rao and pioneer of the Indian cello Saskia Rao-de Haas in a sensational “East Marries West” performance.
Along with sensational tabla solo, divine Bharat Natyam dance with live ensemble, exquisite Carnatic and Hindustani vocals, gorgeous Mohiniattam dance, and much more, Sangeet Mela is a glorious celebration of the world’s finest performance art forms, Indian classical music and dance.
