The First Night of the Proms – Queensland Pops Orchestra

Saturday 2 August, 7.00 pm,  In ‘The First Night of the Proms’, the Queensland Pops Orchestra (conducted by Patrick Pickett) – with Dominique Fegan (soprano), Glenn Lorimer (tenor), Martin Lass (violin) & Gerrit Bon (oboe) will perform Crown Imperial by Walton, Sea Songs by Vaughan Williams, Let the bright seraphim from Samson by Handel, Di quella pira from Il trovatore by Verdi, O mio babbino caro from Gianni Schicchi by Puccini, Winter from The Four Seasons by Vivaldi, Rule Britannia by Arne … and other works … at the Goda Firkins Auditorium, St Stephen’s College, 31 Reserve Road, Upper Coomera, on Saturday 2 August at 7.00 pm. $50 (plus fee).
