Tribute to the Rat Pack – Presented by St Lucia Orchestra

The Brisbane City Pops Orchestra will build a program around these famous performers who originally were named as a hard-drinking and hard-living group of friends. Frank Sinatra is the best known of the pack but the group included Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Junior, Humphrey Bogardt and even Judy Garland at one time. Each of these was a legendary entertainer in their own right but they also frequently performed together in Las Vegas and for Television specials. Tenor Greg Moore will join with us to present a varied program including lots of favourites from these “bad boys” of popular entertainment. Musical numbers will include “A salute to Ol’ Blue Eyes” a Satchmo medley and “New York New York”
